Born into a family of painters and sculptors in Baku, Sitare Hassan began her artistic journey under the guidance of her father. She refined her practice at the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts and through further studies in Turkey, cultivating a deep engagement with both painting and ceramic.

Her work explores the intricate layers of memory, existence, and personal reflection. Through delicate, layered brushwork and subtle textures, she transforms domestic objects and natural elements into carriers of introspection — each piece unfolding slowly to reveal the fragility, depth, and intimacy of human experience.
